Comment: Thanks for your informative letter. I live near Boston which is were MANY Irish migrated about 1900 --I meet many, many people with Irish backgrounds. And I'm in a group of writers where one who still have many ties in Ireland, is writing LONG novel from about 1890 through all the Troubles being handled by a very extended family. She's a great researcher and we are getting much history with poetry and songs thrown in. It will eventually be published. She still has relatives there. Many other people I meet are proud of their background even though they have no relatives there. I hope you have a beautiful spring ... so far we have a very gray and wet spring but at last the flowers are blooming,
