This is one side of a reversible pin cushion/hanger I made for mykismet based on a pattern by Netty Lacroix. It is made with muslin, felt, true vintage buttons, and emery. I wanted her to be able to remove the heart, maybe to take up less space next to the sewing machine. She can hang the hand to view or use to stick safetey pins etc. I also left the leaves loose so she could save sewing needles. Whatever she wants, she has lots of options.
THe heart and hand are two of my favorite symbols. It was made with mucho amor!
