I want to put together a Friendship Recipe Book. What is that? Well that's what I'm calling my newest project. Here's what I'm going to do: Take a large notebook/scrapbook and fill it with recipes from people around the world. But I want it to be creative and unique. So here are the swap's requirements: Send to each of your partners: 1 recipe (of your choosing) written on - stationery paper! (anything pretty and letterset sized, approx. 7.5x5.5inches) Can be hand written, typed or printed. The paper can not be plain. It must have some kind of design on it. (nothing important written on the back please as I want to glue mine into a notebook or scrapbook. Thanks!) Also send! 1 intro "letter" written on a blank recipe card! Include your name, interests, etc and mailing/email address if you would be interested in exchanging more letters/recipes with your partner. So as you can see this is kind of a combined recipe exchange/Friendship page swap. With a twist :P If there is enough interest I would love to make this a regular swap. Feel free to post below your opinions and ideas on how I can make this a great repeat swap. Thanks!

I am watching till I clear my desk - will definitely join - I keep my full page recipes in those clear page protectors in a binder - keeps them clean while cooking.

Great idea Donna! Not sure how I'm going to display mine yet - just hoping to do this swap regularly enough to get a nice, pretty and tasty collection going :P

okay so if i understand this correctly . . I would send 1 recipe on stationary paper, and a recipe card to tell about me. that is it?

Are these not two different sizes? If so, won't it be a problem with constructing the recipe books? Wouldn't it be better to have given just 8.5X's 11 sized decorated letter sheets? I think of stationary paper to be much smaller. If wanting to keep them clean in the plastic sleeves (I do) would'nt it be better t have them all the same size?

I would also prefer the 8.5" X 11" - fits perfect into the plastic sleeves and you can put two in each sheet, back to back.
