The theme of this swap is The Color Black. This is one of a series of color-themed tip-in swaps that will be hosted here over the next few months. Look for Color Orange Tip-Ins, also running at the same time as this swap. This is a 2 for 2 swap. This means you will make two sets of pages, and send one to each of the two partners you are assigned. In return, you will receive one set of double pages from each of the two people who are given your name as a partner. You will be creating two sets of double pages. (Or if you're like me, make three, and keep one set for yourself.) Each set should be built on a 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock or index stock, landscape format. (Landscape means the paper is oriented so it's wide and short when you're creating your artwork---so, you'll be working on a piece that's 11 inches wide, and 8-1/2 inches high.) For complete instructions on creating this type of double page tip-in, please refer to the instructions posted on my site, [here](http://www.lisavollrath.com/pages/188 target=blank). Please be sure you can create your pages and have them in the mail by the last day of October. If you have failed to mail your items by the deadline in previous swaps, or have unhappy feedback of any kind, please don't sign up for this one. I do read previous feedback before the sign-ups close, and weed people who haven't met their swap obligations. If you're new to Swap-bot, be sure to read the FAQ page so you'll know what happens when. I am no longer responding to questions about how to operate the Swap-bot web site, so please read the documentation the kind site owners have provided for you. If you have questions about how the site works, contact the site owners. One more thing: I know this site says to scan the items you receive and post them in the gallery. I'm against scanning and posting someone else's work, for copyright reasons. Feel free to scan and post YOUR OWN WORK in the gallery---flaunt your own work, and be proud! Lisa's Swap Manifesto It is not your constitutional right to participate in every swap you wish. Trust me, I've checked---there is no constitutional right to swapping. If you don't meet the criteria set forth above, or can't meet your swap deadlines, don't sign up. No whining and no excuses. I don't care if your dog ate your last swap package, or your husband forgot to mail it. If your previous swap partners had issues with your participation and expressed it with their feedback, you will be removed from this one. This is not a negotiation. If you are removed, please move on and find another swap. If you don't like the rules, think you're being treated unfairly, or don't like the color of my shoes, that's your problem. If you are removed from this swap, your options are to sign up for some other swap---and there are a bazillion of them here---or to create one of your own, where you'll doubtless learn the joys of trying to make 100 different people happy at the same time. Emailing me with either your sad excuse for poor feedback, or your commentary on my parentage will have absolutely no effect. |
