Description:

I hosted a fall version of this swap and for me it was a HUGE success because I now have my Rapunzel Scarf that I so dearly wanted. But now, I want another!

A Rapunzel Scarf is a made of multiple strands of different fibers (yarn, ribbon, fabric strips, beads???) braided together to make a scarf. One of the many sites on the web for these scarves is:

Clicky Here

We need to get at least 10 swappers. Each person will send 5 each, 10 foot lengths of fiber (as described above) to 10 different swappers. These material sent must be in winter colors with no more than 2 of the lengths being the same.

Winter colors will be:

Whites
Blues
Greys
Deep Purple
Silver
Pewter

I am giving this a long lead time before I assign partners so we will be able to use those trusty coupons to purchase our yarn (if needs be) at a good price!

This is a Queen Swap so I will expect nothing but Queen Quality from all. Please leave a message below with any questions. I will be checking all profiles, looking for any unexplained 1's and any recent 3 trends....

Any questions or comments....enter below or pm me!

30 strands per partner if I'm reading this right? qty 5 of each color. and each color must be 10 feet in length?

dkay 12/ 3/2011 #

Only 5 strands to each partner. The clolrs where examples of what colors to send. 5 is the minimum.

I think we send 5 lengths to each partner. So in total we are sending 50 strands. @dkay Am I correct?

Does anybody have advice on how to package these? The way I have them now they cost $1.71 each to mail...not for weight, but for size. I'd appreciate any advice! (Otherwise I'll just send them out like this...wrapped lightly around cardstock.) Thanks!
