Description:

I have a lot on my plate in other areas of my life at the moment so I can't commit much time and effort to swaps right now. Stressing out trying to get some big craft project done by a deadline is the last thing I need. Still, getting fun stuff in the mail cheers me up and gives me a boost! I don't want to stop swapping.... SO I thought I would host a series of swaps designed to require as little effort as possible! Maybe these aren't as exciting as the bigger, craftier swaps, but these are going to be fun! And most of all, they will be very easy to complete, and they will not cause you stress! You won't need to spend much time on these, but I will give plenty of time to send because I don't want anyone stressing about deadlines!

Let's trade used books! Send 1 old book to each of your 2 partners. Pick out a novel that will be fun for your partner to read. Sender's choice, as long as it is some sort of NOVEL. If you've got some sitting on your shelf you have already read and want to pass on, that's perfect. You can also go hunting for them at used bookstores, thrift stores, and yard sales.

These books are not going to be brand new and may show some wear or age, as long as they are still perfectly readable and not missing any pages. Yellowed pages, scuffed up covers, creased pages, etc. are fine... but if the book is falling apart, torn up, or missing any pages, you can be rated a 3!

If you want to go above and beyond and make this all special, you are certainly welcome to. We all want to make our partners happy, but this swap is designed with low expectations in mind.

I am accepting swappers with ratings of 4.95 and above, and no unrated swappers. I'll drop anyone who is questionable for any reason, including reported non-raters. I know I'm not perfect either, but I want to avoid any potential issues so I can make this the easiest possible swap.

I'm making this one USA only so that we have cheaper shipping options. If you have a heavy book, media mail may be cheaper. If you want an international version, feel free to host it yourself.

Thank you for making it USA only. I just send a MAGAZINE to Norway and it cost me almost $14 & I have one more to send overseas. International postage has gotten ridiculous.

You're welcome @hughesmb It can be fun to swap with international partners, but I can really do without the extra shipping costs and the extra time things can take to arrive. So I sometimes love doing USA only swaps... at least for things that might be heavy, like books or packages!

And again, no one needs to feel excluded here... if you don't live in the US you can simply host your own swap!
