MrsSawbones who has joined our group suggested this idea for a swap, thanks for that. As the name suggests it will be Halloween based. I know it is nearing Halloween but it would be nice to get something after the holiday has past. So here goes for our first swap in our small but growing group. You will make for your partner one envie based on swap theme. Please make your artwork tasteful. What goes in the envie is senders choice but please make sure it is not sent empty. You may look at your partners profile for ideas of what you can do. Please rate your partners according to swapbot rules. As we may get swappers wanting to join this swap who have not already been invited I feel it only fair to state the rules for swappers. No recent 1's or 3's in the last 4mths. Items must be sent out on time but if there are problems please keep intouch with your partner, this is very important.

Ohhh I just wanted to mention if you would love more mailart in your mailbox I would love to trade some unused envies for addie labels as I am nearly out and can't figure out my new laptop yet!! Just a thought! can't wait to see your mailart in my mailbox!! Happy Swapping everyone! ;)

A lot of international senders get big customs stickers put on their envelope if they put items inside. It really ruins the mailart. So maybe keep the gifts flat? Cards, postcards, notepaper etc...

@MichelleK you know, I've actually been in the post office and asked, "ohh, please, could you not put the sticker on the mail art?" They look at me like I have a mental problem (not too far off, right?) Or I've said, "Would you mind if I put that sticker on?" Again, I get the look, but I don't care! Happy Swapping!:-)
