What a delightful book!!! Its inspiring projects are filled with charm, and the photographs are bright, beautiful, and simply lovely.

The fresh and fun pastel color palette evokes an irresistible urge to create, to--in the words of the title--sew something pretty for the home.

The only problem I have with this book is where to begin! I thought a swap might help, both to make something lovely and charming from this book, as well as to invite a fresh breath of spring into our homes.

So, for this swap, we will make one item from the book to send to one partner. Each project in the book has step-by-step instructions, ranging from the small and simple to a few larger endeavors. So it is sender's choice of what to make and send.

Let's try to make things that look like they were photographed for the book. Again, sender's choice of colors, but let's try to keep it in the same lovely pastel color palette as in the book.

For hearts, you can tuck in some lovely goodies, or make two items to send, or send along some fabric and thread, perhaps, for your partner to make another project from the book later for herself.

Since this is a British book, and the items we send could be small and lightweight, this is open to international.

I am allowing plenty of advance time for signup, and for making and sending our items, in case anyone wants to go buy or check out the book from the library if you don't already own it.
