Description:
This is the beginning of a series of ATC COLORS. You will make and send ONE ATC to ONE partner. Any medium that suits your fancy. Regular ATC rules apply. We will start with RED. Not pink, not burgundy, we're talking primary color red. Red must be the dominant color of the card, almost 100% RED. The lack of color choices you have to make your ATC gives you a chance to show off use of textures, effects like matte, glossy, iridescents...go crazy! The goal here is to have a solid colored little piece of art. Swappers will be held to a high expectation, meaning no 1's, and no 3's in the last 6 months. Must have 10 completed type 3 swaps. We want a solid, reliable crew for this series! This does not need to be a profile based ATC, so you can start creating now! This should NOT be a valentine themed ATC, but hearts are a popular motif all year long and completely acceptable. But there should not be a cherub in the bunch, no matter how cute that little guy is! Remember, our challenge in this series is to show off all the different ways to make RED beautiful.

Just wanted to say, I am loving this swap. I have been working on my card for awhile now and it is looking awesome (imho) !! I would have never thought of doing this on my own,, I LOVE my Swap-Bot ... it is like I get the best homework assignments ever! Ok back to my RED

I'm such a dork, I finished mine last night. LOL! I was thinking about doing a different series as well, using one color, but all the shades, hues, or tones..so like for RED, we would end up with grades of anything from orange to purple...what do you think? Would you fine ladies be interested in posting pics of your ATCs to a flickr group? I would LOVE to see everything that comes from this series!

I keep forgetting to take pics of my card before sending. I had so much fun with this RED one, I quilled a very frilly bird, put it on a red glittery background, she is sitting on red branch. so pretty I think.. then all the x-tras in the red envie are red, ribbons, lace and papers. I even wrote a note on red paper. I think this is one of the most fun ATCs I have done thus far.... and dang it,,, I just saw that I missed the sign up for the purple.. Oh well it isnt the end of the world..
