Hello Everybody, @neca has kindly allowed me to be an officer to make some mail art specific swaps, as I am really addicted to them and would love some extra chances to send to fellow Australians and save on some postage! I've done this swap by @stephiedee before in her "Cut + Paste" Group and really loved it. So thanks to Stephie and her awesome group swaps. I thought this would be a great one to start with especially if you are new to collage and don't have a lot of collage materials, as everyone has a few magazines lying around. And don't forget you can recycle cereal boxes to use for your base. I decorate the printed side and write on the grey side (The inside of the box). But you can also paint over the grey or stick a piece of paper on it - it's up to you. Decorate with any thing you like from a magazine, Any magazine and as many magazines as you need but ONLY magazines. All other multi media is allowable as well - Paint, ink, crayon, stamps whatever takes your fancy. The size (and shape) of the postcard is up to you. Minimum requirements are 4½" high by 6½" long, bigger is up to you Once your postcard is complete, you will send it to your partner, naked and stamped. Don't forget to put your username & swap name on the back of your postcard. A nice note or quote to your partner would be great, too Any questions ? Feel free to PM me.
