DETAILS FOR THIS INSTALLMENT OF THE SERIES:

Song Lyric!

Write or stamp or collage a song lyric on your page - doesn't have to be a favorite song, just a lyric that means something to you and/or makes you stop and think or dream, etc. Illustrate this lyric in any way you want (more words, watercolor, collage, mixed media, etc.) - the choice is YOURS!

•You will have one partner •Finished piece should measure 4" by 6" •Sign or initial the front of your finished piece

This is an ongoing collaborative art journal series. I've got a lot going on in my life right now so the swaps might be few and far between but eventually I would like to hold maybe two swaps a month or so - at least something on a regular basis.

The series will include all kinds of themes, mediums, and techniques: zentangles, collages, rubber stamping, painted, drawn, embellished, fabric, embroidered, crayons, markers, themed/non-themed, profile based, sender's choice, etc.

We will always be working on the same sized pieces for this series - 4" by 6".

I plan on obtaining a spiral bound journal that is approximately 5" by 7" in which to mount the pieces I receive. Because we are trading 4" by 6" pieces you could add them to your postcard collection, store them in a photo album, etc. - you wouldn't have to make them into an art journal at all!

If you've got any questions please let me know - I hope to hone the details of this series as we progress!
