I so enjoy making cards and getting home made cards in return. Can't wait as butterflies are a favorite of mine. This should be a fun time for all. I am going to start on my cards now.

oh, I do love butterflies too. Anyone can PM me anytime with ideas for future swaps. I am planning a card swap per month.

Has anyone done a "prick and stitch" swap?

grstamping 02/12/2012 #

Celticmoon what is "prick and stitch"?

Please note: size details edited.

Am a newbie so apologize if this question seems repetative. I got that the inside is blank (meaning we don't write in it) but do we do like a birthday, sympathy or anything or just leave it to the swap partner to complete if they choose?

The normal hand made card size I thought was 4.25x5.5 Half of a 8.5x11 page. Thats the way I have always done them. I do hope that no one minds, but if I do a card, it will be that size. Does anyone care about a 1/4 inch?

grstamping 02/16/2012 #

The size I have recently added to the swap is from a package of cardstock I have been using recently. It is not written in stone. Also, the cards are for all occasions. If you want to check with your partner to see if she has a preference, please do so.

NOTE: if you have received a message from me to put more details in your profile, please do so ASAP otherwise you will not be able to participate to the swap.

I use mostly Stampin' Up! supplies and have always done 4.25 x 5.5, I already made mine if someone gets me as a partner and wants the 5.75" card I will gladly remake some more. :)

Everyone, lets stop worrying about size and a quarter of an inch. Regular size card is fine. I just want to make sure we don't get the tiny little ones (ATC size for example). Let's not complicate this. I also cut my 8.5X11 cardstock in half. Dawnl5579 no need to remake. Swapping is also about appreciating what your partner prepared for you. Have fun people.
