Hello Everybody, @neca has kindly allowed me to be an officer to make some mail art specific swaps, as I am really addicted to them and would love some extra chances to send to fellow Australians and save on some postage! The last swap I did was Mail Art Postcard - Magazine Collage This is another nice and easy one. Don't forget you can recycle cereal boxes to use for your base. I decorate the printed side and write on the grey side (The inside of the box). But you can also paint over the grey or stick a piece of paper on it - it's up to you. Decorate with any thing you like Magazines, books, paper, paints, Inks, Stamps Crayons - Whatever you like. The only condition is that the bulk of it seem red. Red themed, all shades of red, all other colours allowable too but the bulk of it red. The size (and shape) of the postcard is up to you. Minimum requirements are 110mm high by 165mm, bigger is up to you And FYI to stay within the $0.60 postage your postcard should be no larger than 130mm x 240mm no thicker than 5mm Larger sizes will become $1.20 for up to and no larger than 260mm x 360mm Once your postcard is complete, you will send it to your partner, naked and stamped. Don't forget to put your username & swap name on the back of your postcard. A nice note or quote to your partner would be great, too A second part to this swap that is optional - I am blogging all about my mail art adventures (www.daniellemaret.com) and would love to see all of these postcards, not just what I receive. If you would like to let me blogg about the whole swap - please email your images or a link to your images to me - [email protected] Thanks Any questions ? Feel free to PM me.
