For this swap, you will send one profile based art doll to your partner. Keep it small, 2'-5", to keep postage down.

This is an art doll. For an art doll, the only rule is that it is not meant to be played with. Other than that, it can be any medium, any style, anything you can imagine. It can be definitely human, vaguely human, animal-like, goddess-like.... it is whatever inspires you. Take a look at your partner's profile for an idea of what would thrill them.

No paper dolls for this swap, please.

This old forum thread has links to patterns and tutorials, mainly for fabric artists. However, clay, assemblage, and papier mache are perfectly acceptable mediums.
