So I think Kate has a video out there on how to make your own mini envelopes out of memo sheets! If not, it's very easy to do and you'll need to get a template for a mini envelope! Google has tons of different ones!! You can also get one (if you have these memo pads) that have the envelopes already on them, then you cut and fold!! You can make a template from that as well!! We'll be sending our partner 6 different mini envelopes we've made out of memo sheets. You can also use origami sheets as long as they are kawaii! I like to use those memo sheets that have a full picture on the front! And it's a great way to get mini envelopes to put our sticker flakes in for our swaps here!! This is cheap, easy and really doesn't take a whole lot of time to do!! Please do make them nice and neat though! No sloppy ones!

so we can make these from memos that are meant to be envelopes and/or memos that are filled with illustration like the one kate used in her video and/or origami memos?

Nina, if I'm reading her swap description correctly then yes, you can use the pre-fab envelopes from memo pads as well as everything else you mentioned. :)

She also said we could use "scrapbook paper" if it was Kawaii (I called her to be sure)

Okay, good. Because I've already made these. I used an assortment of envie memos, 1 overall pattern memo, and a few sheets of Hello Kitty origami paper.

Yeah, I'm about to sit down with a pile of memos and scrappaper and make a TON. My partner is going to get way more than 6... LOL

Seriously, I'm about to make 10+ envelopes! But if my partner doesn't like "kawaii girls" I will cry a river. xD Or rather, make new ones for her...

I added so many extras, I doubt my partner would recognize the swap without the note! xD I couldn't help it! It cost $1.17 to mail to Canada whether the package was 1.3 oz or 2 oz. Figured... MAX OUT! hehe I hope she'll like it!
