2 partners 1 card each - 2 cards in Total...

Okay this is a bit different to what we are used to regarding size and all.. You need to make a 4" x 4" card, and then decorate it with a Safari theme...

I came across these last year and they are heaps of fun. A bit bigger than the standard ATC more room to move, yet not as daunting as the 12 x 12 we have on our scrapbooks...

Whatever your rating, regardless of where you live... you can join this swap... Remember it is about having fun creating... It costs me about $2 per swap for my postage international which I participate in, which is alot I suppose, but it is enjoyable to see what you receive and the ideas that others have around the world...

I also hope others appreciate the time effort put into each and every ATC that I create too, just as I do theirs.

So please enjoy creating and if there is any questions please just leave a comment..

Thank you for joining my swap.

Welcome Jan...

I was wondering whether you are still on here or not...

Well it is Safari theme and it should be fun. At present we only have two partners and that is you and me.

This swap must be a little too much out of everybody's safety zone....

ATCs are never 4x4. That is the size of art squared or chunky book pages. Genuine atcs measure 2.5x3.5", and that size never varies. Just thought I'd mention. If you Google ATCs, you'll see that what I say is true. Not to offend the swap coordinator, I'm only passing on the correct size of actual ATCs.

Susi, I am sure we all know the size of an ATC. I think she wasn't sure what other way to categorize or explain a 4x4. I am thrilled to have this swap available. I never see 4x4 swaps anymore.

If it help, the more common term would be 4x4 "pages" - as in chunky pages and other decorated pages, of which 4x4 is a common size (as is 4x4.5) and then you can make them into a book by punching the side & using rings (or ribbon or string or anything else you like). (They're not sent out pre-punched for obvious reasons!)

If you enjoy this size of art, then you may want to keep your eyes out for chunky books and chunky page swaps - there's at least one group for them accessible via my profile too :)

I am sorry if I sounded pompous and a know it all, please accept my apology. Rillaith expresed what I was trying to say in a much gentler manner. again, i am sorry if I offended anyone here.

Jan and I did a swap before using this size and they were great. Jan created an album of them. ATC's can be of any size. I know the standard size of one. I thought this would be a challenge to anyone wanting to participate. If you do not wish to do this, you are not obliged to join. No thank you 'keeping my eyes out' for other swaps relating to this size, but thank you for letting me know.

Thank you Azureskyz for your lovely comment. No there is not many 4x4 swaps out there anymore.

Yes you are also correct I though I would add ATC to the name to attract the ATC people, to give them another experience of a much bigger page, but too much bigger, as to not daunt the newbies. I hope this makes sense. But I am sure that you completely understood anyhow from the details of my swap. Thank you for joining.
