Description: | |
This swap is going to be a put-together-a-collection type swap; therefore it will have a long send-by date to allow we who are collectors time to accumulate a variety of items for our partner. For this swap you will gather up at least ten items in the colors of pink and aqua to send to one partner. I'm thinking of things like small vintage pottery or glass figurines or containers, candlesticks, pieces of ribbon or lace trims or papers or fabrics. Paper or cloth flowers, vintage linens or handkerchiefs. There are tons of things that would qualify! Beads, buttons, baubles, or old/odd bits and bobbs of jewelry or other baubles. There should be at least one small handmade item of your choice/specialty in the appropriate color(s) included in the package. You may include two or three modern/new items, but the emphasis of this swap is on the collected/vintage/hoarded/shabby/thrifted aspect. So: One partner Send at least ten items as outlined above. Wrap each item separately in a wonderful manner so the unwrapping is part of the pleasure of the swap. Don't try to break the bank on this swap. We still have plenty of yard sale, thrifting ahead of us this summer, and we all know part of the thrill of finding that special thing is getting a great deal on it. If I had to put a dollar amount, I'd say no more than $15.00- $20.00 on the items you include in your package. Certainly you can spend five or ten dollars and still make it look like a million bucks! I will angel, but really don't expect to have to do that in this group. |
