Description:

Are you a newbie needing ratings? And want to be angeled if someone flakes on you? Then read on. (";)

You will have 1 partner and will make them 1 of the following:

  • 1 bookmark
  • 1 ATC (MUST be 2.5" x 3.5")
  • 1 note card with a matching envelope (not written on)
  • 1 correspondence card with a matching envelope (not written on)
  • 1 postcard (not written on)
  • 1 postalette (not written on)
  • 1 letter set consisting of 2 writing sheets with 1 matching envelope (not written on)
  • 4 envelopes (can be the same or different)
  • 5 swap cards (can be the same or different)
  • 3 inchies (MUST be 1" square, all different)

You may use any medium and any technique to make your item(s).

Stationery items must be large enough to mail (no mini sizes).

It is very disappointing to receive something that you cannot use, so please package swaps carefully.

While this is sender's choice, please check your partner's profile for their likes and preferences re styles, themes, colours, etc.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Since I am guaranteeing angeling for this swap if you don't receive anything from your partner (after rating them a 1 of course), I am limiting this swap to 10 participants.

You must have a fully completed profile (not just a few sentences) because your swap partner needs this information.

You must have been rated successfully for no more than 15 swaps at the time of joining (no experienced swappers please).

You must have a minimum 4.95 rating.

You must have no 1 ratings (unless you believe they are unfair, in which case please pm me in advance of joining to discuss).

You must have no unexplained 3 ratings.

Please don't forget to include your Swap-bot name and the name of this swap on your swaps so your partners can rate you.

If you have any questions, please pm me as I don't check here every day.

Have fun!

ATCs - you can read about them HERE.

A correspondence card is like a postcard, but mailed in a matching envelope:

A postalette is a letter that self-folds into its own envelope - you can see an example HERE.

Swap cards are little cards that you include with your swaps so your partner knows who is sending it to them and for which swap --- they are also useful to keep by the computer and refer to when you are rating your received swaps. You can see an example and get more info on them HERE.

Inchies - you can read about them HERE.

I still dont see the difference between note and correspondence card.

TangleCrafts 10/11/2012 #

As I understand it, a notecard is folded (like a greeting card but without the printed greeting) and a correspondence card is flat (like a postcard but without space for stamp & address because it comes with an envelope).

Terry, if you need an extra person to angel just drop me a PM. I'd be happy to help if you out. =)

Hi,

I am a newbie trying to sign up, but I don't have any ratings, so it isn't letting me (it says I don't meet the ratings requirements.) I just completed one swap (items went out in the mail) so hopefully I'll have a rating by the sign up deadline!

This will be my first swap, I am so excited!

"Inchies" are one inch square pieces of handmade art - like an ATC, only smaller.
