Description:

Time for a quick postcard swap. You're going to have 2 partners.

6) Go to your postcard stash. Pull out 4 postcards

7) Grab 2 envelopes.

8) Grab 2 slips of paper, write the swap name “Quick Postcard Swap #1 – International” and your Swap Bot ID on each

9) Put 2 postcards in an envelope, along with a slip of paper, and seal the envelope.

10) Wait until partners are assigned. Then, address your envelope and send it off!

If this swap looks familiar, it's because it's done in a similar fashion to the anonymous tea trades @toupti does. I thought it would be fun to do a similar thing, but with items other than tea.

Swap deadline and send off dates are close together because these envelopes should be ready to go well in advance.

Rules: Your postcards need to be two different cards per envelope. If you have multiples, you can make your envelopes the same, because really, who's going to know you sent the same thing twice?

Advertising cards are allowed, but only 1 per envelope.

Zazzle, and printed at home postcards are allowed, but they need to be of decent quality, and only one per envelope.

Store bought postcards are always fine.

Send what you have! I'm not putting 1 card limit on how art/tourist/photograph cards because it can be difficult to get a variety of cards in some places. If all you have is tourist postcards of Mt Rushmore, send those! If you can mix it up, feel free to do so.

Postcards should be in good shape. Dirty, badly damaged, mangled cards don't belong here. I do a swap to get ride of those sorts of cards, so they don't belong here.

4.85 rating or higher, newbies allowed. If you're a newbie, fill out your profile please, a blank, or 1 paragraph profile makes people unfcomfortable.

If you receive an envelope from a swapper and you don't feel it meets the requirements of the swap, please contact me.

Anyone who fails to meet the requirements of the swap, or flakes, will be banned from all my future swaps. I will angel anyone who gets flaked on.

Is there a reason for the third slip of paper? (see #8)

smadronia 01/ 1/2013 #

Nope, there's supposed to be 2 slips, but for some reason it mentions 3. I'll change it.

What is a zazzle, I've made some cute part drawn part zentangle I loved the outcome but what is zazzle? I really want to try this one?

@Cauti92 Zazzle is a place where you can have things (including postcards) custom-printed with custom artwork (either a picture you upload yourself or one from the large gallery of existing images there).

So if you order postcards from them, they'll print a batch of postcards just for you with the picture(s) you chose.

The website is at www.zazzle.com.
