Description:

I'm bringing back this swap series! I miss you swap-bot!

Mail art is so much fun to create and receive! Whether they are collaged, taped up, painted, doodled or anything.. they are better then plain envies anyday!

For this swap you will send out your pretty, pretty envies to 3 partners. Make them unique! Nothing too plain and if you plan on sticking a sticker and calling it done, this swap isn't for you. The 3 envelopes we make are the ones we stamp, address and send.

Envelopes can be any size! Inside you can include something fun for your partners, but it's completely senders choice. You can even decorate huge bubble envelopes if you're super excited! (lol)

Try to use stamps on the envelopes as well. Barcodes tend to cover up your art and I know my post office people stick them anywhere they want. I also think stamps kind of make the envie special too. However, this isn't required.

Some ideas for what to put inside:

Inspirational quotes! Street art! Stickers! Photos! Postcards! Funny local ads! Tea! Buttons! Or anything you'd like to share! This swap is International and although it shouldn't be much to send out, please keep that in mind before joining, along with the time to make your envies.

NEWBIES WELCOME WITH FILLED OUT PROFILES.

I will angel if I have to and I'm giving some time to make them!

Have fun! ♥

How many envies to send per partner? Or just 1 and with little surprise inside, right? :)

provadia 01/19/2013 #

1 to each partner making it 3 altogether. And right! :)

Thank you...:)

Another idea to put inside the envelope: a decorated envelope for your partner to use. (I'd love that!!)

@IdlersDesign ~ Absolutely, great idea!

I have sent my envies today. it was a super fun project! one my take longer time to arrive since is going very far away....

I also learn something today, and is to ask the clerk in the post office that i will place the stamps myself before handing the post over. when I went to the post they they told me that i need it more stamps besides the ones i already have in the envelopes , i purchased more but i did not tell the clerk right away that i wanted to place the stamps myself on the envelope, so but the time i was going to do so she had already place the stamps on two of the envelopes, and cover a little bit of the decoration, and i would have liked placed the stamps in another place of the envelope. anyway, a learning point.

@musamaya ..in my case i always place the stamps myself... one advantage is that the post clerk became my friends already so they know that when i am mailing i must be the one to paste the stamps... haha...:) or else they might ruin whatever i had my envies decorated on. :) and then they would stamped it received with the date. Soon as im home then that is the only time i would click the button sent. :) Also i am the one putting it on there big mail box. They have four big metal box sorted to different countries and our own regions...:) just sharing. :)

hello Marge, my plan wa to put the stamps myself, but when i reacted she already had put them on... ;) . i also do what you do. I click the sent until I have came back from the post office. I usually go there to make sure my envelope has enough stamps. i only put local letter and postcards in the pick up box because i know how much i should put ;)
