How To Make A: Ostara Altar Whimsey Jar

I don't know about you guys but I'm always seeing beautiful swaps that I have no idea how to do. Fear consumes me and so I run in fear from the swap lol. So since we're all friends I thought why not try safe, I don't know what the heck I'm doing, swaps :-) If it goes good we will do others!!

For this swap you will do the following:

♥ Buy a 12oz glass canning jar (this is the type of jar you find jelly in)

♥Decorate the jar with Ostara theme stickers or maybe insert an image that shows through the front

♥ In the bottom you will add at least 3 small items that follow the Ostara altar theme (example could be tiny flowers)

♥In the next layer you will add at least 2 medium size items that follow the Ostara altar theme

♥In the top layer you will add one large item that follows the Ostara altar theme (example of large item, a decorated Ostara egg)

♥For the lid you will not use the normal lid. You will instead use a scrap of fabric to cover the jar, and then tie it off with a bow

Easy Peasy!!!

There will be no rating down for this swap unless your partner

A. Fails to include at least 6 items in their jar,

B. Does not follow an Ostara theme or

C. Does not follow proper swap etiquette such as sending on time

Remember that we are using this swap as a learning experience. Perhaps you already make whimsy jars and want to join. Please do! BUT remember your partner may be a newbie to it like me :-)

No sending junk!! Super long send by date. Monitor partners profiles so that you don't send stuff they may be allergic too or not like.
