Description: | |
This swap is for beginners as well as advanced dotee makers to build a variety of faces to get some new ideas and bring more personalty for future dolls. For this swap you will have one partner to make 5 faces for - not the whole doll - just the faces. They can be embroidered on felt, rubber stamped or drawn on muslin- your choice. After sewing, or stamping/drawing cut the shape of the face out and finish the edge nicely to prevent fraying. It can be from polymer clay too. You can google dotee dolls to get an idea of doll styles and face sizes. Since dolls can be 3 to 5 inches in length it leaves a lot of wiggle room for size - soda bottle cap size or smaller. Sender's choice for color, size, style, or technique. Personally, I'm open to my partner giving me hints as to what they can use too. Send on time and rate fairly. Sending late means it didn't meet all of the swap requirements and your partner can rate you a three. Not rating at all is not only rude, but it isn't following Swap-bot rules. You might not receive faces you think are your style, but 5 faces sent on time should be rated a 5. Newbies allowed - here's your chance to build ratings by doing a great job. However, no experienced swappers with 1s or ratings below 4.9. I don't usually drop swappers until right before I assign partners. I read every profile, and I do drop people who I think might present a problem to other swappers (ratings slipping, comments that you send late, a lot of resends, no recent signing in, being listed as a problem swapper etc. Please inbox me if any questions or concern. |
