Description:

The idea behind this swap is to make an ATC about a country OTHER THAN YOUR OWN, with things that would represent that country or things that are recognized in that country. An example would be-if you are from the US and let's say you decide to do Austrailia, you could do a Koala Bear ATC, a Kangaroo ATC, etc. If you are from Austrailia and you pick the US as your country, you could make a bald Eagle ATC, American Flag, or even go even futher and make an ATC that represents a specific state such a Nevada, California, Utah, ETC. If you are from the US, the ATC must be something about another country other than the US.

Standard ATC rules apply 2.5x3.5 and can be decorated anyway you want, but please take your time and make an ATC your partner will like.

@magickspirit51 The koala is NOT a bear. Just educating. Erm, I mean, saying.

@lizard Thank you (I knew that, of course- oops) I apologize. They are cute (and look kind of bearish though).

@lizard Thank you I wanted to say that too, I don't know why that upsets me so much but it has since I was a child. No offense @magickspirit51 most people say it that way including my kids however they mostly do it to try and make me mad. :-D

No offense taken. I am wondering how everyone came to use the term Koala Bear in the first place? Anyone know?

Magickspirit51 03/14/2013 #

Never mind, I looked it up. Wow! Lot of name injustice to the little thing, including the spellling of it's name.

lol @Magickspirit51 - google drop bears ... I have fun telling tourists to watch out for them ... :) I'm naughty like that!

@Faun00 it is unusual for an american (or anyone outside Australia) to find it irksome when koalas are called koala bears. :)
