Description:

Never made a zentangle before? Saw all those really neat patterns & thought "I'd like to try that," but worried you wont get it "just right?" Me too.

If you would like to try your hand at making a zentangle without worrying that someone is going to point out all your mistakes, tell you all the "tangling" rules, etc. then this is the swap for you. (Expert tanglers welcome to join to, just realize you may be getting a zentangle from a complete newbie.)

For this swap you will have one partner and make one zentangle. The only requirements are that it be made on a 3.5 inch square of paper, in black & white, and that you try and use the "official patterns," (these can be found online if you don't know what they are.)

Open to those with a 4.8 rating and no unexplained/unresolved ones or threes in past three months. Newbies allowed with well filled out profile and five rated type three swaps. Will check profiles prior to assigning partners. Since the postage on this should be minimal I am making it an international swap.

At first I read this as "Wormy Free Zentangle" :)

So plain paper is fine as long as it's 3.5 inches square? It doesn't have to be special cardstock?

HisChild 03/15/2013 #

@pne plain paper is fine. I know that zentangle "purists" use special paper & pens for that matter. But, this is a beginners swap to get people practicing the patterns to see if they actually enjoy doing them. And please, don't add any worms....lol

Cool, thanks! And I'll try to make sure my swap is wormy free :)

One of the best tangle swaps I ever saw. Even thought I regualrly make tangles, I never give myself credit, so I like to stick to the swaps that allow mistakes and a bit of my nervousness.
