Altered Text Tags #1 Senders Choice

Here is a different take on Altered Text. But, I think in the end these will be neat to make and to send with our packages!

You will make 6 tags for ONE partner.

You can hand make your tag (blank/ base) or you can use pre-made tags. Make sure that whether you hand make them or you use pre-made ones, they are more on the sturdy side. NO USING regular paper as your base piece!!

You must add some sort of string or fiber or something to the hole in each tag.

Assuming, again, that all of you in this group know how to do Altered Text this should be a no brainer. If you've done Altered Text ATCs or the Cards, just think the same way but on a smaller scale than an ATC.

Basically, you'll take your tag blank base and add a piece a book page piece, a magazine, piece, whathaveyou and glue it on nicely. You CAN use some cardstock to place on top of your tag base before adding the book page if you'd like. You will then choose a phrase, small sentence, etc and make sure to circle it or at least make it clear. Your next step is to color around your chosen text to block out any other words. You can then embellish it however you'd like. They can be flat or you can add brads, flowers, stamped images, trims, ribbons, etc.

Your chosen phrase can be blunt, vague, funny, spooky---however you'd like. This swap is senders choice so you don't have to go off of your partners profile. However, you can if you'd like!

The picture that I have chosen was the closest image I could find to an "Altered Text Tag" If you want to do circle tags you can but make sure they are at least 2-3" in diameter. Otherwise, the minimum size for all tags should be 2x3 inches. You can go bigger if you'd like, just no smaller than 2-3" in diameter or 2x3 inches.

MAKE SURE TO LEAVE THE BACK OF YOUR TAGS BLANK!!!
