Description:

OK, I am making 4 I spy quilts for my soon to be four kids! I know crazy, right?

So here is the mission, if you choose to accept it!

Go find quilting fabrics (100% cotton, woven) that represent each letter of that month. (example: an A fabric might have angels, apples, ants, Abraham Lincoln... )

Make three 10 inch squares of each letter fabric. ( hint, if you buy off the standard 44 inch bolt, you will get to keep one yourself!)

Stick one of each square into an envie and mail!

That means you will send each partner 5 different squares for a total of 15 squares!

This is senders choice, so long as it followed the ABC format and the 100% cotton, woven. If you a Wiccan and get Christian crosses as a C fabric, you still rate a 5. They do not need to read or look at your profile before sending. We will be having some senders choice squares later on so you can get rid of it. Same would go for me and getting peace signs or Halloween witch fabric. If you are of a religion that will not allow you to have things like that, you are just taking the risk that you will have to toss fabric. Sorry.

Also I prewash most fabric that live in my stash. You can send new or prewashed fabric. If you only use non prewashed, well may not be a good swap for you.

So people can plan ahead, here is the schedule I wish to have, I will be needing to do this swap for several years to get enough blocks for my children's planned twins sized quilts, so I hope to host this for a while and repeat it... (Also, since someone asked, yes, you may host your own I spy swap. Just tell me so I may join! I may also advertise it on this swap!)

Jan: ABCDE

March: FGHIJ

May: KLMN (plus one senders choice)

July: OPQR (plus one senders choice)

Sept: STUV (plus one senders choice)

Nov: WXYZ (plus one senders choice)

The mean, you can't be in my swap, requirements, quoted from the FF front page: You must have a 4.95 or higher and have completed (and been rated for) at least 5 type 3 swaps to join in any swaps. If you are a member already and drop below 4.95 you will not be allowed to participate in any swaps until you bring it back up.

On that note, this is a USA only swap. This is to keep mailing down.

I reserve the right to ban as I see fit. I will also be deleting this swap and not likely hosting more for this group unless I can get 4 swappers total.

FYI, senders choice means exactly what is sounds like. Send a 10 inch square of whatever you the sender wants! It doesn't have to go with the theme, but can. It can be a square you got in another swap you don't want, or whatever. Personally I am loving batiks, but don't go out and buy fabric just because you want to please me or anyone else. I see it as a kinda destash.
