This is an international swap. You will make 1 doll with a dark fairy theme for 1 partner. Please note that the doll you will make for your partner should NOT be a Dotee doll. Dotees are great, but that type of doll has been in the majority of doll-making swaps recently. This swap is for something different. You can make the doll for your partner using a fairy tale theme but remember this is for a dark fairy. When I say dark I mean the colors used will be blacks, deep indigos, dark purples, etc. Sparkles and shine are fine as additions, but work more toward the goth-y style, not the Disney style. I don't mean for your fairy to be evil (necessarily) -- while you work, think good, deep thoughts. It's your choice how to make this doll -- fabric, clay, clothespin or sturdy paper. But it should not be in the Dotee style. Work at least three inches tall and no larger than 12 inches. Dress it up, do work you'd be happy to receive. Included with your doll should be a card for your partner with the doll's name and a short version of her fairy story. RULES & REGS: You must have completed at least one non-email swap at Swap-botto join. You must be rated 4.8 or higher when the swap sign-up closes, and show no recent "no sends". If there are special circumstances, please message me directly. You must have a completed profile with links to pictures showing they kinds of art and craft work you have done in the past. Flickr is a free on-line photosharing service where you can post pics if you don't already have them somewhere else. People new to Swap-bot -- if you have not been rated, please message me and I'll consider setting up a separate swap for a group of you. If you sign up for this swap, I expect you to send. If you run into any problems sending on time, I expect you to communicate directly with your partner and with me about what is going on.
