I believe this is called “upcycling,” where you take something and make it better than it's original purpose. I like my own title better. Here is what you will do: 1) Take an envelope that junk mail arrives in and carefully open it up on three sides. 2) Turn it over and decorate it in some way in some way (for ideas, look up “mail art” or “decorated envelopes” on the Web). You are basically decorating the inside of the original envelope. Some junk mail envelopes have a window area; this could be fun; what will you do with it? 3) Add a happy little note inside, telling a little about you and/or your day. 4) Fold it back up so your decorations show. 5) Seal it up, address it, and mail it to your partner.
