Description:
Here is the September version of this monthly swap. This is the idea behind the swap: You will have one partner and about a month to finish a 12.5" quilt block (unfinished) for your partner using THEIR color scheme. The design is up to you, so feel free to try something new if you'd like. (maybe you've always wanted to try paper piecing and this would be a great opportunity. Or maybe you'd like to try working with inchies.) Anything goes. I like to add a note saying what the name of the block is I used and why I used it or any other appropriate anecdote. Anyone with a rating of 4.9 or higher is welcome and newbies are welcome if I can read your completely filled out profile. (That is a profile in which I can read what your likes and dislikes are, some info about yourself and the crafts you do.) I will be checking profiles before assigning partners. I will angel if that's necessary. Please communicate with your partner (and me) if you are late for whatever reason. But please understand that angeling is contingent on you giving the partner who flaked on you a 1 rating. They should not be rated a 5 if I send you the swap that they failed to send.

Rainbow colours, purple, pink, green, yellow, orange. Your choice! Happy to have white with the colours as well!

My colours are green, orange and aqua with light grey as a nuetral. I would like to put this block with some pinwheel blocks I have from a swap on flickr. You can see the mosaic and the blocks I made for that swap on my flickr account. Once I have the blocks I will photograph them and put them on flickr as well. BTW your block does not need to be a pinwheel as it will become a modern sampler quilt.

All the colors of the rainbow! If a polka dot or two slips in that would be super...but not critical...the choice really is up to you. Please have some fun

I would like a BOLD colored block, greens - oranges - blues - purples - pinks - reds, you get the picture :-)

I do not understand everything: what do you mean by not-finished? Do I understand well, it can be paper, it can be fabric?

@stevado the quilt block has to be made from 100% quilting cotton. Unfinished means the measures of the block before it gets put into the quilt. Hence a 12,5" block unfinished makes for a 12" finished block once it is in the Quilt. I hope this helps

I prefer the "Mondriaan colors": white, black, blue and yellow.

I can imagine some people do not like this at all, no problem, you can make a block in all kinds of blue with white. So make your choice.
