I love reading historical books about the influential women of the world's past. From the early 14th Century BC to current times. I am always fascinated by the political and religious influences these women had over their kingdoms or over their generation. I thought this would be an interesting series to do with ATCs. Each swap will have a different historical character. You don't have to paint or draw each lady on the atcs. Unless you want to. Maybe an atc with things that each woman represented. Week 3: Eleanor of Aquitaine, Queen of England and of France, Eleanor was one of the most influential figures of the 12th century. Married at age fifteen to Louis VII of France, she later divorced him to marry Henry II, the future King of England. She bore Henry eight children, two of them future kings of England. Throughout her life she maintained control over her extensive lands in Southern France, and cleverly managed the lives of her children and grandchildren. Standard 2.5x3.5in size. NO sticker slapping. Please put some effort into your atc. NO FLAKERS! I may allow newbies into this swap if your profile is COMPLETELY filled out and you have at least 10 swap 3s. I don't want any issues with this series. Will angel if needed, hopefully wont have to. |
