JULY: Mail Art Kit

This swap is for people who love mail art and would like to share that love with others. After the sign-up period closes you will have 10 days to assemble your mail art kit for your partner. Remember, this is senders choice because it relates to your own personal style; however, it is always a good idea to check your partner's profile for any allergies or strong dislikes.

For this swap you will send:

• A handwritten letter introducing yourself in hopes of making a new pen-friend

• A set of instructions for making your type of mail-art (What type of mail art do you make? Envelopes, ATCs, postcards? What inspires you? What elements have you found particularly useful or not useful?)

• Paper or natural ephemera that can be used in coincidence with your instruction kit (think: vintage book pages, ticket stubs, stamped images, magazine clippings, dried/pressed flowers/leaves, pretty papers)

• A finished example of your mail-art (a hand-made postcard, a decorated envelope, an ATC, etc)

As in any swap, remember to put effort into your crafts so that your partner will receive something at the same caliber that you would like to receive.
