Description:

This swap is for people who like to cook and try new things! You make (not buy) a pocketsize booklet with a minimum of 15 pages, and you fill it with recipes (incl. pictures, your own or someone else's or from a magazine or a postcard, wherever you can get them from). Make it a fun project; decorate with stamps, stickers, or whatever you like. The cover must be made of thicker paper, like cardstock or something. Make sure it doesn't fall apart after leafing through it a couple of times.

You can add recipes you personally like or traditional recipes of your country.

You get 1 partner. Minimum rating of 4.8, but no recent 1s or 3s. I remove possible flakers from the participants list. Unrated swappers are welcome.

You get 1 month to send out.

I will angel on these conditions:

  • it's been (a minimum of) 5 weeks after the send deadline;
  • you've contacted your partner;
  • I've spoken to you and your partner.

Any questions? Post in the comments, or if it's urgent, send me a PM. :)

So do we send 15 recipes? Also, it would be nice if the pages were a little bit thicker than regular paper; like cardstock, so it would hold together longer like a regular cookbook =)

Not necessarily 15 recipes. It depends on how big the recipe is and how much space you need for it. Pictures, instructions & ingredients, etc. Just stuff it as full as you can.

You can use cardstock for the pages, or you can request your swap partner to do so. I've just made mine with regular paper and it holds together nicely. I sew it together.

The cover should be thicker paper though. I'll add that to the swap.

So by pocket size what do you mean? Can you give us some general dimensions? Thanks!

Pockets are 13x20cm or 5x8inch. A little bigger or smaller is more than fine.
