This will be the first cross-stitched ATC swap I have run on Swap-Bot, but if it goes well, I plan on running them regularly. For this swap, you will send 1 ATC to 1 partner. Cross-stitch ATCs are really easy to make as your stitched design has to be small enough to fit on a standard sized ATC (2.5 in x 3.5 in). The theme for this first swap will be Summer Fun. That means you can stitch any motif which makes you think of summer - ice cream, beach ball, sandcastle, sunglasses, sunshine, cool drinks...the list is endless. You can find many free patterns for small motifs on the internet. Your design doesn't need to fit the whole ATC if you don't want. The photo above is of a couple of stitched ATCs I created, so you can see how your stitching can be set off by papers and embellishments. Try to make the ATC something you would be happy to receive. Use a sturdy backing for the ATC, and keep it to the standard ATC size. Remember to put your user name, the swap name and any other information you want on the back of the ATC. I will angel for the swap if necessary. Minimum rating 4.97 with no recent unexplained 1s or 3s. |
