Hi All! On September 19th my lovely Grandma Audrey will celebrate her 83rd birthday. She's had a rough couple of years, so every birthday is a milestone for her. I recently told her about my adventures with Swap-Bot & Postcrossing and she just loved the whole idea of it, but it made me realize that she probably hasn't received a piece of Happy Mail in ages. So, would you like to help me give her a special birthday treat this year? SWAP DETAILS You will send 2 flat items (postcard, note card, greeting card, etc). One to your partner and One to Audrey. Anything goes as long as it is happy and warm. Share something you'd like to receive. Be as chatty or as brief as you'd like, just be sure to send along a sweet sentiment to your recipients! In return, I will spend an afternoon with Audrey replying to all of the senders. (This will be a great activity for her because her days are pretty monotonous, and it will be nice to have her put pen to paper again. She used to be such crafty, creative woman!) Oh my gosh! I love this idea!!! I can't wait to get started!!! Is there anything we should avoid writing to Audrey? Can we send a packaged tea bag with our love letter?! Hee! So excited to meet her. :)

@hachiko Thank you so much! She used to LOVE tea, but has slowed down with it. She cannot have green tea, but perhaps she'd like something decaf!
I don't really think you need to avoid anything, but just an FYI, she has survived both of her husbands so she is alone in that regard and she does not get out of her house often (her choice).

Christina- I've dropped from the swap because I have a lot of swaps ending around this time. However, I've posted a birthday card for your grandma to you. Love the photo btw. Hope she has a fabulous birthday :)
