Since everyone loved the idea of a theme in an envelope idea here is the first one of a series i will be doing. If you want to see a particular theme for future rounds please let me know in the group forum and i will begin a list. The first theme is Fairytales, Myths & Legends, Folklore etc You will get an envelope or if it is easier get a bag and fill it with items to do with the theme. You could include but not limited to.. -a book of fairytales from your country -a gingerbread man -postcards or notecards -figurines -bookmarks -ATC's Think Grimm and Andersen, Greek Mythology, Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of Oz i will also allow as i have a soft spot for them. But try refrain from some of the Disney versions unless your partner likes Disney. There's so much to choose from! As long as it has something to do with the theme send away. I'm not going to put a price limit on this as currency varies for each country but keep in mind this is a type 3 swap. You need to send at least 5 different items but the more the merrier i say :) Oh and if you send something that you think your partner might not know which fairy tale etc it will relate to please write a brief description to explain eg if someone were to send a sea shell let them know it's from The Little Mermaid and it was a shell one of them used to eat their dinner from (No idea where that came from haha just an example but try not to send things that need too much of a far fetched description. You want your partner to know that what you send is related to the theme) Handmade is fine for this swap as long as your partner doesn't mind though and as long as it is high quality. I will angel if necessary but lets hope it wont come to that. Any questions feel free to ask Happy swapping book worms :) |
