Description:

Remember in that first day back to school (generally shortly after Labor Day) and at least somebody would ask you what you did over the summer. That is what this swap is about.

You will need to either make, or purchase a journal or notebook (not the cheapo notebooks, if you go that route - you don't want it to fall apart) and you will journal your summer. It doesn't have to be from Memorial Day to Labor Day, but maybe you took an exciting trip to Asia, or India....or maybe you went fishing every weekend, and spent time with your granparents. Or you just enjoyed your time in the sun to yourself. Whatever it is you did this summer, you will journal. You don't have to make an entry every day, or even every week. The requirement is that you have 100 pages, (50 pages, front and back) of a 5x7 or larger journal/notebook filled out to send to your partner. To make it interesting include photos, maps, recipes from a cook out, empharma, poems that remind you of something. Your journal should be a work of art. Something beautiful and interesting for your partner.

Requirements: No newbies, no unexplained no sends, in the last 6 months and a rating of 4.9 or higher. Each participant must have completed 25 rated swaps. (postcard and email swaps do not count). Sorry about the strict guidelines, but this swap will be nearly impossible to angel, and i don't want people to not get their journal.

This swap is international. Please keep that in mind when signing up. Your journal will probably fit in the flat rate envelope, which I believe costs $12 to send internationally. So your postage shouldn't be more than $12, total.

I'm giving a month after "summer" is over to complete the journals. This should be plenty of time.

If you have ANY questions please PM me. I will not ban until partners have been assigned.

(please feel free to start working on your journals before partners are assigned)
