For this zine swap you will write about something that is not normally discussed amoungst family and friends. They would be the topics that you would only share with your closest family and confidants.

What is a zine??? A zine is a magazine/pamphlet/booklet that you make and publish yourself (usually photocopied). They can contain anything you like for example: Poetry, opinions, recipes, a comic, photographs, stories, reviews, sketches, personal experience, journal style. They can be completely written, completely art or anywhere in between. Here is a link to instructions for creating an 8 page zine template from one piece of paper. Go to the site and scroll down about half way.

SWAP GUIDELINES:

*To create your zine you may use any type of techniques. So sketch, collage, word processor, typewriter, handwritten, photos.... create it as you wish.

Zine must be sized 4x6 inches or smaller. Must have at least a total of 8 pages (front and back each count as separate pages). The standard 1 piece of paper/ 8 mini page zine is fine.

Suicide

Anger Management

Addiction

Anxiety

Crime

Marriage or other relationship

Money

Weight Management issues

Religion or Politics

Illness/Sickness

Divorce

Feelings of Inadequacy/ Insecurity
