Fun With Felt - Christmas US Only

I have been having a lot of fun making things from craft felt lately. It is cheap -you can find it on sale for, 4 squares for a $1.00. It is forgiving- no raw edges to fray or unravel. Lots of neat colors. So I thought it would be perfect for a swap.

So here goes:

This will be US ONLY, but if someone wants to do an international version please feel free.

With Christmas fast approaching I thought it would be fun to make something with a Christmas theme- it could be an ornament, decoration, small pillow, etc.

This is senders choice, so you can get started right away.
But if you want you can wait until partners are assigned,to get ideas of things they might like.

You will have 1 partner and will send them 1 felt item.

You will make 1 item out of felt, it will be 3 dimensional, NOT FLAT.

The item should be around 4-6 inches, if making ornaments make sure they have a hanger, and if they are smaller than 4 inches please make 2.

It should have some hand or machine sewing, not just glued together.

It should be decorated in some way, not just plain felt.

Fun Trees
I can see these decorated all sorts of ways. Just use your imagination! please don't use pins to decorate

Gingerbread man
Who doesn’t love gingerbread, this is to cute to eat, fun rick-rack icing, could even be jazzed up with a bow-tie.

Snowman
I can see him dressed up with a cute scarf, and fancy buttons.

Fun Pillow
Cute Idea! You could even add buttons, or a fun trim around the edge. Scroll down the page a bit.

Owl Ornament
Love his rick-rack feathers.

Elf Shoes
I could see these, decorated with pretty hand embroidery, and filled with Christmas Candies.

Mitten and Ice Skate ornaments
Cute! Decorated with fun trim, I could even see tiny buttons on the ice skates, and fun embroidery on the mittens.
