Description:

This swap is a 2-part swap..... If you sign up for part 1 you will be required to sign up for part 2 (which becomes a private swap between the participants of part 1) Sounds more complicated than it is!!!

YOU MUST USE 2 SIDED SCRAPBOOK PAPER! DO NOT USE 1 SIDED PAPER OR THE BOOK WILL NOT LOOK GOOD!!

Part 1 - Click HERE for a tutuorial.... THIS IS SUPER EASY! You will make the mini book and you will decorate the front of it and the first two pages.....When partners are assigned, you will mail your mini book to your partner.

Part 2 - When you receive the mini book from your partner, you will finish decorating the rest of the pages in the book and when partners are assigned in the private swap, you will send your finished mini book to your partner.

This is NOT profile based.

PLEASE do your best work - do not rush through it just to get it done....take some time with it and make it nice!!

Have fun and Happy Swapping!

So just to clarify for my poor caffeine-deprived brain. LOL! Person A makes the book & decorates cover and first 2 pages before sending off to Person B, who finishes decorating it and sends it off to Person C? And Person A determines where pockets would be for the whole book or no? And it's any theme we want for decorating it, yes?

@ariestess - person B upon receiving the book finishes the book and sends it to Person C... I would like for us to get our original books back after sending them to person B but that would require several private swaps and I'm not sure if everyone could set up a private swap.... YES person A determines where and how many pockets to put in the book.... YES it's any theme - sender's choice... I hope this helps!

Because your first paragraph says "the second part is required to sign up for a private swap between the partners of the first" I thought it meant we would be getting our own books back because it also says (which becomes a private swap between the participants of part 1). and that would mean we would have to set the second part up between us. If the second part is going to be set up by you it will be just sending the finished book onto anyone that was in the first part of the swap, right?

@LilyM - The beginning intention of this swap was to send the starting of the book to the partner that you have been assigned to.....the next step was to finish the book and send it to the partner that you are assigned to in the second step. When I stated: If you sign up for part 1 you will be required to sign up for part 2 (which becomes a private swap between the participants of part 1) I was saying that it becomes a swap between ALL of the participants not just between the 2 participants of that swap..... NOW I'm thinking that maybe people are wanting their book back that they started and if this is the case then those people need to set up their own private swap....I am going to message everyone in this swap and ask them their preference....majority will be the final decision....

can we put a cover on the book?

barbieloufromKY 11/ 7/2013 #

@Dannette I'm not sure what you mean because the book when folded has a cover page that should be decorated to serve as the cover. But if you want to put an extra cover on the book, I'm sure that will work too!

ok, Thanks!!
