this swap is easy, just comment with 5 choices for a picture you want on your postcard. Then, your partners will find a postcard with one of those choices and send it off to you. for example if i listed: 1)apple 2)the color blue 3)arachnid 4)an iceburg 5) a telephone, my partner would have to either make or purchase a postcard with one of the above things on it. You will have 4 partners with 1 postcard each, so you'll be sending out 4 postcards total. Put your lists below and enjoy!

Hi southernXpacific: December 28 to January 1 is not very much time either to make or find 4 different postcards, given that we cannot do any of this ahead of time. And post offices aren't open on January 1 (I work with fabric and have to have mine hand cancelled). If you could extend the sent date to about January 7, I would be interested in this swap. Thx!

I would like to sign up for this swap but since we won't know which partner is ours until after the signup date is there any chance we could have a smidge more time for the send out date to find or make postcards to match our partners postcard lists?

I changed the sign up date to tomorrow (so you'll know your partners then) and changed the swap day to the 2nd. That gives you the 26th-2nd (one week) to work on or find your postcards. I hope this helps! I'll have another one of these in mid january and will be able to allow much more time. :)

Okay, I will give it a try. Hope I can find some of the postcards you all want.

I would like postcards with 1) Beach scenes with people 2) cats 3)hotels/motels 4) any kind of animals specific to one region 5) any kind of flowers specific to one region

Note: For numbers 4 & 5, you know the kind of postcards you see that say things like "Animals of the SOuthwest Desert", Or "Flowers of Hawaii". Those kinds of postcards. Hope that makes sense.
