This swap is for 1 ATC to 1 partner. Use stamped tissue paper on your ATC. This is sender's choice but feel free to take a peek at your partner's profile. 1) Stamp an image using a permanent ink (such as Stayz-On) onto tissue paper. White tissue paper works well to create a clear, image transfer type look but feel free to experiment with colored tissue paper if you like. Stamp a single image or multiples onto the tissue paper. 2) Rip, cut or use the whole piece and adhere to a backing. You can use Mod Podge, Clear Gesso, Clear Gel Medium or whatever works for you. Here are a few videos that help show this technique: And Ursula Smith who also talks about glues Amy recently hosted a swap to create and exchange stamped tissue paper images to use in your mixed media art. Deets here. For those of you in the swap, feel free to use the images you received. Image above from crafty75 at Flickr |
