Hello there lovely swappers! So i thought it would be a wonderful idea to swap a book! Woo! An old paperback is fine as long as there are no pages missing, spine intact and fairly decent condition. Basically don't send something you wouldn't purchase for yourself. On that note it can be a brand new paperback or a pre-loved one it is sender's choice. The theme though is this. Send a book that relates to the classics! Oldies but goodies :) eg but not limited to- -Wuthering Heights -The Little Prince -Sherlock Holmes -Of Mice and Men -Castle of Ontranto -Phantom of the Opera -Dracula -Oscar Wilde -Edgar Allen Poe etc... To make it easier for your partner feel free to write in the comments your wish list so your not doubled up. But if your partner cannot find the book on your wish list don't be upset about it. Some books are/are not easy to find. Or don't write anything if you want a surprise.. up to you! Now in the book your sending write a small note on the inside of the cover to your partner so they'll always know who its from and that it came from half way around the world just to be with them :) Keep it brief but you could also include your favorite quote! Now for the bookmark.. Hand made or store brought is fine. No freebies this time unless you want to add it in as an extra.. then its more than welcome! Dont forget to check your partners profile! Lets keep the love of books and reading alive in a world where technology and Kmart/ Target stores are taking over! Support your local independent bookseller people! :) I will angle if necessary after you rate your partner a 1 however i hope this wont happen in our group... Any questions please feel free to ask! Happy swapping! |
