While trying to do something else with Shrinky Dinks, I made a bunch of kawaii charms and thought, HEY! I can swap these!! So! You're going to make 3 charms for your partner with a food with faces theme (I welcome suggestions for future SD swaps in the comments.) Keep in mind, please, these are pretty tiny. I made a hole for a jump ring on mine, but if you want to make a pin or magnet... be sure to finish it for your partner.

I don't know if my printer is going to cooperate. It does fine with words. Maybe Paula at Office Depot would print these on shrinky dinks if I brought them. Yes I know people at Office Depot.

These are cool! Where do you buy the sheets of shrinky dink? ( My phone auto corrected and changed it to stinky fink!!!! Lol!!!)

So we can pretty much find awesome pics on the internet then print them on shrink papers and make charms?!?!?

Do you need the printable shrink paper?

Michaels or Hobby Lobby sell the shrinky dink paper. I probably have a few sheets somewhere. =)

Yes, I nabbed some pictures off the web, and yes Michaels for ink jet shrinky dink "paper". ALL of the directions are emphatic that you have to really really honestly lighten the image as they darken when baked. They were right. ;-)

The next purchase will be the clear shrinky dink paper. I prefer the look.

How much should they be lightened?? And what is the size of the shrinkage?

My shrinky dinks are unhappy with me.

Since they shrink X3 I figured a 3 inch image would give me a 1 inch dink. Sorta.... they look bigger than an inch to me. And the directions say to lighten them by 50%. I'm going to fart around in Photoshop tomorrow as Ed and Norma blew us off for the week. =D Maybe I'll have better luck with the colors there.
