Description:

The May 2014 Fandom in a Bag swap is Disney.

Step 1: Please list in the comments your favorite characters, movies, moments, or any other preference you may have.

Step 2: After partners are assigned, check to see what your partner likes. You can follow-up with a message if you need to know more. Then scrounge up, buy, and/or create items that fit in a bag. Your bag must contain at least 7 different items although more is certainly encouraged (PLEASE try to make it look full).

Some ideas of themed items: stickers, ATCs, postcards, toys/action figures, comics, note cards, pins/buttons, magnets, jewelry, trading cards, charms, ornaments, books, bookmarks, address labels, postcards, plushies/stuffies, promo stills/autograph cards, fainfic, zines, etc.

More specific ideas: top ten list of your favorite Disney movies, Mickey/Minnie ears headband, Toy Story piggy bank, themed recipes, Tinkerbell magic fairy dust necklace, a book Belle would read, oh my goodness there are too many possibilities to list!

Be sure to check your partner's profile so you don't send anything he or she might be allergic to.

Step 3: Put the items in a ziplock-type bag. Size: 1 gallon (measures AT LEAST 10 inches by 11 inches or 28cm by 26.5 cm). You can decorate the bag or incorporate the bag into something (mount it or sew something around it). If you want to make or buy a bag instead of using a ziplock plastic one, that's fine as well, but it should be at least a gallon in size. All items you gather or create should fit into the bag (if a couple are too big, that's fine).

Assemble your bags during the month of May and please send by the deadline (May 31).

Group rating rules apply. NO FLAKING ALLOWED! Flakers will be thrown into the vault, never to be heard from again.

I love all the movies, but Alice in Wonderland and Donald Duck are my favorites.

Disney!<3s My favorite character is Maleficent (especially in dragon form) although I'm quite fond of the villains in general such as Scar and Chernabog. Favorite princesses are Belle, Rapunzel, Elsa and Ariel.

Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Toy Story, Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland.

I LOVE Disney. My favourite Princesses are Jasmine, Rapunzel, Mulan (I know she isn't "technically" a princess...) And Queen Elsa. (Those are my favourite films as well, though I also love Hunchback of Notre Dam and Beauty and the Beast too <3

I like the Villians best, expecially Maleficent. Also Alice in Wonderland, Nightmare Before Christmas, Toy Story, and anything to do with the Disney Theme Parks.

My favorite Disney movie is the animated 101 Dalmatians movie. My second favorite is a tie between Sleeping Beauty and The Lion King. I also adore: Brave and Beauty & the Beast. I really love almost all Disney movies EXCEPT FOR Dumbo, Bambi (because it is so sad), Pinocchio, The Three Caballeros, and The Black Cauldron. I also don't care much for the Disney Fairies or the Princesses as a whole. I was also a HUGE fan of Duck Tales, Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin, and Darkwing Duck when I was a kid. I also great up watching the Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night (the Shaggy Dog will always have a special place in my heart, for example). Last but not least, Eeyore is my absolute FAVORITE technically Disney character (Tigger's just too bouncy!). I LOVE Disney's Winnie the Pooh--the original movie, the television show I watched every Saturday morning when I was a kid, even the new movies. I could literally spend HOURS listing all the specific Disney things I love, so if you want more info about something mentioned or have a question, just message me and ask!

I love everything Disney but my favorite Disney Character is Ariel from the little mermaid, but I love beauty and beast and everytime I see anything to do with the rose in the glass I just melt inside and want it! I'm in love with the movie Frozen and Olaf is the cutest my favourite part is when he says some people are worth melting for :D

I love the old fashioned Disneys - Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty & the Beast in particular. I also really love Alice in Wonderland (original), Winnie the Pooh and Robin Hood.

Favourite charactors are;- Gus & Jacque (Mice from Cinderella), Flora, Fauna and Merryweather (Sleeping Beauty), The White Rabbit, Eeyore, and Owl (Winnie the Pooh)

I am really not keen on the more modern Disneys, and I really dislike The Lion King.

I'm a sucker for the older films - especially Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, The King's New Groove, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Aladin, Beauty and the Beast ... and I love Winnie the Pooh! :D I'm not so keen on "Disney princess" stuff which is all pink and glittery - not my style of Disney. ;) Also, the animated films like Rapunzel and Frozen are great, but to me not as great as the old classics. I don't own any of the DVDs yet, so that would be a great surprise! Also, I love the classic Mickey and Donald - (not the animated versions!)! Generally, if it's about Disney from at least 10 years back - I'll love it. :) (Except Ariel ... I don't know why, I just dislike that film. :-/)

PS: Oh, I LOVE Nightmare before Christmas, too! I tend to forget this, because it seems "not so Disney", but it's one of my favourite movies!
