Hey everyone!! I have received a lot of good feedback for the recipe postcard swap. After talking with Rosemarie, aka, YarnTails, and "stealing" her idea, I will be starting a bi-monthly recipe postcard swap. Here's how it works: Just take a postcard, homemade or store bought, and send a recipe on it. It can be a recipe for anything. Soup, dessert, cocktails, mac and cheese, whatever you prefer, but it must start with the letter of the swap. This week's letter is "A". Apple Pie, Angel Food Cake, Artichoke Cheese Dip, even Appletinis. You can cheat and do something like Annie's Chicken Soup, but let's try to keep that at a minimum. You will send the (1) postcard with a recipe to (4) partners. The postcard itself does not have to have a recipe on it. The postcard can be of anything at all, but instead of writing a note you will write a recipe. The postcard should be stamped and mailed. Do not use an envelope unless your swap partner requests it. This swap is open to all, International is encouraged so we get lots of different recipes, newbies are okay with a completed profile. No recent no-sends, no ratings less than 4.7. (Or PM me if you have a good reason) Don't forget to put the name of the swap and your name on the postcard so your partner can rate you!! *One last note. The alphabet idea is just to give us a direction. If you miss a few or if we've already started and you didn't start with us, don't be afraid to start up. The idea is to spread delicious recipes across the world :)

This is a great idea! A note to my partner: I am a vegetarian, so a vegetarian recipe would be ideal, but not 100% necessary. I have plenty of non-veggie friends to share recipes with. :-) Thanks!

I'm also a vegetarian, so anything meat-free would be prefered, but not required ... I have fun turning recipes veg*n anyhow. :)

Ok - I have an awesome recipe that my chef hubby came up with several months ago, but we call it Audrie-Lito Pasta. Should I change the name to more reflect the artichokes and stuff in the dish and better represent the "A" or is that name OK? I just want to stay within the parameters of the swap. Thanks!

Answers to the questions:

Yes, you can send the same recipe to all four partners. So, for example, each of my postcards will be a Florida postcard and the recipe on the back will be for Apple Pie. (Muffin's question)

Audrie-Lito Pasta sounds great. We just don't want the same recipes floating around for the same thing every swap. For example, we don't want your dish to be Audrie-Lito Pasta this time, Bernie's Pasta the second time, Carlito's Pasta the third time, Danny's the fourth, and keep reusing the same recipe, you know? (sportzmedchick's question)

Still waiting on my other Three. Iwant to enter in the B swap but i don't know. I throught this was fun BUT. Maybe if you contact the other 3 partners that suppose to send my recipes and find out when i am going to get mine maybe i will enter the B swap. Thanks
