Description:

I am currently doing an international swap with a Strawberry theme. While looking around I am amazed how much butterfly themed stuff there is. So I have decided to host a Butterfly themed swap.

The idea of this swap is simple, take a small box and fill it with butterflies (Obviously not real ones they don't travel well!) and butterfly themed gifts. I would say spend at least £5 and include at least 5 different gifts. My purpose is for everyone to open their parcel and be excited. Aim to make your partner feel like its her birthday!. There are some lovely Butterfly papers and gift bags so wrapping the presents would be nice but isn't part of the swap.

You don't have to spend a massive amount if you are willing to put time and thought into this swap. I have seen so many wonderful gifts this week and some are very inexpensive. If you are a crafter make your partner some gifts.

A few ideas of items to include

Notebook

Eraser

Pencil

Scarf

Notecards

Toy Butterfly

Butterfly buttons

Peel offs

Handmade card

Paper pad

Butterfly attracting plant seeds

Socks

Card Embellishments

A shopping bag

A painting of a butterfly

Ribbon with butterflies on

A rubber stamp

chocolate/Sweets/Food stuff

A tea towel

Anything that has a butterfly on.

These are just a few of the things I have seen. With a little imagination you don't have to spend a fortune.

Ratings are dependant on how happy your partner is so if you are planning to put 5 sheets of stickers in an envelope, please don't sign up.

As this is a themed swap you can start shopping before your partner is assigned but be warned it is addictive! My partner is going to be very spoilt I have started already!!!!

I am sorry that it is limited to the Uk but if you are further afield and want to join in, send me a private message. If enough people are interested I will host an international or European one.

I'm assuming it doesn't actually need to be a box?! Since UK ghas changed postage rates etc it's much more sensible to send things in a bit envelope unless they are huge!
