If you're like me, and have wanted to try making an ATC (Artist Trading Card), but don't feel comfortable swapping with people who have making these for ages then THIS IS THE SWAP FOR YOU! An ATC must be 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches in size. After that, the only limit is your imagination. This doesn't mean you just slap a few stickers onto a piece of card and say you're done. We need to put some effort and thought into this. The theme for this ATC is the colour BLUE. This means that most of the card needs to be different shades of blue. You can have other colours in there, but blue must be the dominant colour. Think blue sky, blue water, blue flowers, etc. Then let your materials (stickers, fabric, washi tape, fancy paper etc.) go to work. This swap is open to anyone who is willing to put some time and effort into making their very first ATC. I know I really want to try this out, but am really nervous about doing it. I'm just really not that artistic and feel intimidated to send my first effort to someone experienced! If you're in the same boat, please join me. Maybe we'll all find a new craft to be crazy about! New swappers are very welcome. For everyone else, a rating of 4.85 is necessary. No 1s in 2014. If you've got any 3s, please send me a message explaining what happened. I really don't want any flakers in this group (just had my first flaker recently and it's made me more cautious). This swap will take time and effort, so if you're not prepared to commit to it, please don't join. It's just not fair on your partner. PLEASE NOTE: I'm going to have enough of a challenge just doing my ATC. There's no way I can angel this swap. Rating: as long as you receive an ATC that looks like your partner put time and effort into it, rate a 5. The whole idea is to try out something new, so I can't guarantee that any of us are going to make a masterpiece the first time! If enough people enjoyed this swap, let me know. I'd be happy to set this sort of swap up again as we all go through the "learning curve"! Lol |
