Something About Me Postcard Swap, R3

I'm always amazed at the fantastic people that I've met during my time here on the 'bot, and figured that this might be a fun (and easy) way for us to get to know each other a little better.

Here's the idea: you will send one thoughtfully-chosen postcard (based on your assigned partners profile) on which you will write as many interesting things about you as you can reasonably fit. If you're stuck for inspiration, things which you might consider shaing are:

• The meaning or history of your name (either first, middle or last)
• Something that you've overcome in your life
• A description of something, someone or a place which is significant to you
• A recurring dream that you have
• A recent craft project that you've completed or are inspired to try
• An interesting news story that you've read, and your thoughts on it
• A favourite quote (with a short note about why you like it)
• A cause that you are passionate about, or a way in which you give back
• A description or quote from the best book that you've read lately (don't forget to include the title/ author!)
• A tradition that is meaningful to you
• Your greatest wish
• A trip that you've taken or dream about taking
• As a little kid, what you wanted to be when you grew up

Please do feel free to use your imagination! There is no limit to what you can share, as long as it is about yourself (although it may be a good idea to read your partners profile, just in case they have some serious triggers that you'll want to avoid).

As ever, I will be checking participants profiles and ratings thoroughly before assigning partners; please note that if you are currently showing as late on any swaps I will politely request that you follow through on those before participating in this swap. Similarly, if you have a 1 rating and have not made an effort to follow through on the swap owing to your partner (especially if they are still an active member of the site), I will likely ask that you do this before participating in any of my swaps.

Newbies are welcome on a fairly selective basis. Please have a well filled out profile (with a nice listing of your likes as well as a self introduction) and consider joining the Newbie Helpers group. If I see both of these things when I'm checking your profile, you're in.

I do angel all of my swaps, although I will make every possible effort to ensure that my swaps remain flaker-free.
