Description:

I love old cathedrals, churches and gothic sanctuaries, and even though secular religion and the misty Isle never really got along they were both part of the same world.

As this is also a medieval group, I thought an ATC with a cathedral or church in the background or as it's main theme would be fun and something different. The architecture is beautiful no matter your faith and I thought it would give a chance to use our creative minds to come up with something special for our partner.

So 1 ATC for 1 partner with said theme mentioned above. Any medium welcome with the exception of all digital artwork. Please do your best and have fun.

I could also be a part of the church like in the picture above. Please don't think you have to fit an entire picture of a church in there somewhere, if it works fine but you can use a partial view of feature of the church as well.

Is that Fountains Abbey? I was there on a field trip once when I was doing my MA in Mediaeval Studies at York U. and was in the Rambling Society. :0)

I think it is suppose to be a depiction of Tinturn, but not for sure, as I have never been overseas I would defer to your knowledge in this area. Thank for joining! :-)

You know, we went to Tinturn as well! And it was 30 years ago- god, I'm old! :0)
