Description:

For this swap, take a book you have laying around. Count every 12th word until you have 15 words. Using only those words, turn it into a poem and put it on a postcard. It would be nice if the postcard kinda matched the poem but it is not. necc. Please do not just write a poem on a postcard. This is to see how creative you can get with randomness!

The poem may not make complete sense but try to arrange and rearrange them into something coherent!

  • Make sure to include your screen name as well as the book and author on your postcard.

  • Postcards can be store bought or hand made. Any medium!

  • Newbies Welcome!

  • You will have 3 partners. Feel free to send the same poem or switch words around for a different poem.

  • Ratings of 4.9 or above please.

  • Yes, it is international

Do the words have to be cut out of the book, or can we just write them and not cut up our book?

ElizabethObviously 08/ 4/2014 #

No don't cut them out of the book. You just write them down. But when you make your postcard, you could type them up, print them out and use them on your postcard. But no please don't hurt any books.

Should you have the source also written down?

ElizabethObviously 08/ 4/2014 #

Yes you can include the book title and author on the postcard. I will add that to the description.
